aaaaaand the number one of the NGADM is....... Headphoamz! CONGRATULATIONS!
No .... im dead serious. This is way too good. I really enjoyed it! 0:46 O ... M ... G dat change. That could really be in a James Bond film or so. Great work! At 1:26, i love those percussion sounds. What samples did you use?
Best work you've made so far. Seriously!
hey thanks man!
well i dont know why i changed back..
maybe this whole chazmana thing was just a side project to improve my skills or whatever.
you might also be thinking; pff he's using his cahzmana profile to vote but seriously if there is anything i wouldn't do its that.
sure i have done it in the past but what the hell.. the past is the past, i have grown more fund of using this profile again, becoming more skilled and i should look more into the future.
anyway, im going to be making some beautyfull nature photo-shots when im gone, ill probably post the most beauty ones on my front page when im back haha
thanks again!
It seems there is a low frequency which fucks the song up. Well the mastering doesnt even sound good in my ears. It needs more work, because the low frequency is too overpowered.
I like the melody quite a bit. But some notes are off, especially from the pluck at 3:32.
Not bad but needs more work. practice makes perfect.
What do you mean by the mastering? Do you mean the song too loud? I dont even know what kinda techno this is. I make what i feel. im getting better at least fuck it. I originally wanted to remake video game music but decided to make my own music since i always wanted to start a band. I used to play guitar and drums but havnt in like 8 years.
Nice dude. The intro started really well. I like the switch at 0:30, because I like the pluck sound in that part. The melody is pretty good too, but its getting a little bit repetitive. But the use of the trumpet in this song is really awesome! What did you use for the trumpet? A soundfont?
The second thing I want to mention is the kick. It could be more punchier, if u know what I mean.
Overall good song, needs a bit more variation but its ok, 4/5
As for the trumpet I used a sound from the Dance Orchestra Expansion Pack in the VST Refx Nexus. To be more specific I used the sound called "Trumpet Lead 2" and edited it a bit to get that nice crisp trumpet lead.
Well done dutton! I like how it starts, with the white sound haha. Great melody overall. And nice progression which i like most. Its really getting epic around 40 second, that part is really enjoying me.
I like your use of those instruments. Sort of funky, swinging beat. But as you mentioned about the vibe its obviously true, great work!
At 1:25 (and more) there is a synth sound or so you hear in right ear, which is kinda annoying. imo. I dont like it, maybe you do. ;D Also the end is not my "taste." But those are just little things, rest is great.
Hey thanks man I'm glad you enjoyed it! and hmm synth in the right ear? I keep most electronic elements in the middle the only thing panned to the slightly to the right is the filtered trumpet, just to balance out the violin on the left. That goes on throughout the song though not just 1.25. I guess that can drive some people a little crazy with different instruments in each ear, it's not for everyone I suppose :P. Thanks again!
srsly dude, this is an awesome theme! wow. I like the athmosphere really much. Those anvil sounds fits perfectly. Its like youre in a weird abandoned factory or so. There are plenty of changes and sounds, so it doesnt get boring, never. ever. It really sounds like it's just performed live, with some extra effects underneath. I like it. Best classical composer you are.
Thank you for this review! I lost count of how many reviews you gave my tracks man, haha. Very grateful for it!
"srsly dude, this is an awesome theme! wow. I like the athmosphere really much."
Great! It's what I worked hard on in this track.
"Those anvil sounds fits perfectly."
I really wanted to add some anvil sounds to the track, and as I was browsing through East/West Symphonic Orchestra Silver's library, I literally saw a patch named "Anvil". Most convenient thing that has happened to me in a while!
"Its like youre in a weird abandoned factory or so."
A friend of mine said it sounds like a factory! Other people said it sounds like a haunted mansion, which was definitely not the atmosphere I was aiming for. I guess factory is closer to what I was aiming for though.
"There are plenty of changes and sounds, so it doesnt get boring, never. ever."
Variety's important, so that's good to hear!
"It really sounds like it's just performed live, with some extra effects underneath."
I really need to credit East/West's sounds for that. The solo string patches, in particular, sound just amazing. I used a solo viola in this track.
"I like it. Best classical composer you are."
Best classical composer? Maybe in some distant universe haha. However, thanks for the support, thanks for the review and thanks in general for BEING AWESOME. By the way, I've been keeping myself updated with the remix of The Festival, can't wait to hear more of it!
