Nice song. It got some cool variation like the part at 3:01. Where it goes to some classical instruments, I found it funny that you have added that dessert themed instrument. lol. Since it doesnt sound
dessert-ish xD But its very, very original. A cool original style, not the usual same style you hear mostly in music. I also like the hihats. It really sounds like a boss stage theme :3 Dont mind too much about the game im creating, i have no good ideas and the im trying to learn in coding, will take some months to get it right together ;) srry.

Well overall a good song! Maybe you'll ever create a similar song like Virtuelle Paris??? ;D?? I love those happy melodies !!

Haha thank you! ^^ and funny you should mention the desert part. When I said I had a hard time extending it, that's the part then I ended up making. Nothing else would work but the desert section seemed to have fitted in nicely xP. Also yeah! my thought's exactly, being boss music and all.
And no worried man, I have a game of my own that's rotting away since the coding got too hard xP.

Good point, I notice most of my music this year has been more dark/action themed so I actually want to make another happy track. Funny thing though, When I started this track I initially set out to make another happy track like 'Colours', one with heavy basses and light instruments, but it turned into this instead xP I'll be sure to attempt another happy track soon though! Thanks again! ^^

I bet you love using the same synths. But it never disappoints me. The intro is a cool one. I like how it is funky! Catchy as hell, like real funky beats. Well, is there a bad point in this song to mention? Maybe that the kick roll is kinda loud. But overall I dont think so. ;) Great song!

Actually I made completely new synths in harmor and sytrus, the only synth that I would say sounds similar is the growl because I FM it generally the same but I change it up bit. Thanks for the review!

[LO - Get Scraped (RD2013)]

Loving it! Heerlijke beat! You are one of my favo dutch composers here on NG. I still know your RD2012 song lol. That was a good one too. Ok im too lazy to type some things in english, here is it in dutch: Mooi nummer, paar dingen die me opvallen is onder andere de distortie. Op 1:32 is het goed te horen, door die overgang met die kick en crash is het als het ware 'too overpowered'. Daarnaast weet ik niet of het aan mij ligt, maar jouw liedjes zijn nogal luid, ten opzichte van andere liedjes, haha. 1:46 is ook zo'n stukje waar het net een beetje irritant wordt voor je oren ;S. Maar by the wat, het is een chille track.
Ok that's all, my song wont get it in the top 3 of the RD2013, but i dont give a crap. I participate for fun :D

I don't really hear any distortion at 1:32 but I do not own the best monitors ever so I could be wrong. Yes, this track is a bit louder than usual but that's because I tried something different when it comes to limiting and compressing the master track. I always had the feeling my tracks were kinda soft compared to others so I guess this worked out. :P

Good one. I like the build. Awesome drop is awesome. Nice effects at 0:57 (and at the end) with the vocal lol. I like your bigroom stuff. There are not many composers here who compose it like this.

yea the effect at 0:57 is a reversed vocal sample (i think) with some lazy effects on it, havent taken the time to improve them lolol

yup there aren't many bigroom songs/artists in the audio portal except for me.. im a loner :( lol
i assume that is because it isnt really meant for 'home-listening' i mean its nice if you listen at home but it would be best if played on a massive party! ;)

Cool song. FL kick and clap never gets old lol. Your mastering is not so good imo srry. The lead at 0:16 is way too overpowered! When it stops the whole song turn normal :s. Like the melody and the semi tones! Some of them are like a james bond theme (0:54), haha!
a lot of clipping in the song, like the one at 2:30 :o
overall i kinda like it. ;)

Thanks for the honest review! I admit my mastering isn't great but I think Im getting it slowly. Come the final version Ill turn down the main lead plugin as now youve pointed it out, it is a bit too powerful. The kick drum isnt FL but the rest are, Im really not sure where to find any drums that fit better though, so if you know any you think could work or know a website or two full of drum samples I'd appreciate knowing!
